Our Full Plasmid Sequencing services are run on the Oxford Nanopore GridION platform.
Full Plasmid Sequencing Guidelines
- Submit your order through our online ordering site by logging in to your account. Online order submissions are now live!
- Submit your purified plasmid up to 25kb in size in either 1.5mL tubes, or strip-tubes.
- Samples should be quantified with Qubit Fluorometer or similar for most accurate results and best chance of sequencing success. Nanodrop is NOT recommended for quantifying DNA samples and may cause sequencing failure. If you do not have access to a Qubit Fluorometer, we can check your sample concentration for you! Please request this along with your sample submission! We will charge an additional $1.50 per sample for quantification.
- Sample concentration and volume requirements are as follows:
- 20-200ng/uL of DNA, submit at least 15uL total volume
- Over 200ng/uL, submit at least 5uL total volume
- Avoid high EDTA elution buffers. Water and most commercial kit elution buffers are acceptable.
- Only numerical, alphabetical, and dash(-) characters are allowed in sample names. Any other characters will be removed during sample processing.
- Results will be delivered with the following file types:
- BED
- GenBank DNA
- TSV
- FASTA (Consensus Sequence)
- FASTQ
- .html (Plasmid Map)
